I am delighted to be a member of the Design and Craft Council of Ireland. It is more important now than ever to support our local makers and keep money in our local economy. Made Local is an excellent initiative which I am part of which promotes local craft, trying to ensure that we shop local before looking to places such as Amazon to source our Christmas gifts. If we stay local we are keeping local crafters in jobs, which has the knock on affect of keeping the local economy buoyant. SHOP LOCAL
